Mary Webb

Mary Webb, MA, completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior at the University of California, Irvine and her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at the California Graduate Institute.  She has been working with children with special needs and Autism Spectrum Disorders for over 13 years.  Mary’s background in family therapy combined with her years of experience helps her appreciate the child’s role as part of a family system rather than in isolation, which she utilizes to promote functional and sustainable change for her clients.  Mary has extensive experience providing consultation and collaborative services in both general education and special education classrooms.  Additionally, she has advanced training and expertise in social skills development and social skills training.  Mary developed CLC’s social skills group therapy program, which utilizes the principles of applied behavior analysis along with social-pragmatic curriculum and resources to improve social outcomes for group members.  She has served as a direct mentor and supervisor for associate staff members pursuing further education and experience in the field of behavior analysis.  Mary has completed coursework toward certification in behavior analysis and plans to sit for the certification exam in the future.  Her current interests include social skills assessment and treatment, interdisciplinary collaboration and consultation, consultation with educational teams, and CLC program development.
