What is an IEP?

The Individual Education Plan (IEP) is a document that is developed after it is determined that your child continues to qualify for services at the age of three. The IEP describes what your child can do well and what your child has difficulty with in specific areas of development.

The school district that you live in will want to evaluate your child to determine eligibility. At this time, RCOC will provide all previous assessments and progress reports that can be reviewed by the district. The current service provider will be asked to provide a progress report or a comprehensive report along with goals, objectives and recommendations.
