Clinician Positions:
CLC employs Occupational
Therapists, Speech Therapists,
Behavior Analysts/Specialists, and
Physical Therapists. Clinical
staff responsibilities are
evaluating and treating clients,
as well as collaborating with
other professionals in order to
provide an effective program.
This includes documenting,
working with interdisciplinary
team members, attending
staff meetings, providing and
attending in-service training,
participating in continuing
education, mentorship of junior
clinicians and other duties as
assigned by Directors.
Minimum requirements for clinical positions are a master's degree and appropriate clinical licensure or certification in the clinical discipline.
CLC also employs experienced
COTAs, SLPAs, and assistant
level Behavior Analysts to
work under the supervision of
their clinical counterparts as
part of the clinical team.
Minimum requirements are
clinical licensure or
certification in the clinical
discipline area.
Developmental Specialist/Direct
Staff
Positions:
Developmental specialist and
Direct Staff are responsible for treatment of specific cases as assigned by Directors.
Developmental Specialist/Direct
Staff work under the supervision
of behavior analysts/specialists
and work in collaboration with
the interdisciplinary team. Other responsibilities include documenting, attending meetings, attending in-service trainings and other duties assigned by the Directors.
Minimum requirements for
developmental specialist/direct
staff positions are a bachelor's degree or bachelor's degree in progress in speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychology, child development, educational psychology or special education.
Must have experience with
children. ABA
experience preferred, but will
train qualified candidates.
SLPA, COTA, BCABA certification a
plus. Bilingual skills a
plus.
Senior DS/Parent
Trainer Positions:
Provide direct intervention to
children with developmental
disabilities using ABA
principles. Teach parents ABA
principles necessary to reduce
behavior excesses and improve
skills. Techniques used to teach
parents will include modeling,
role-playing, and practicing the
strategies. Applicants will
undergo training specific to
parent education techniques.
Intervention will be designed
and supervised by a Behavior
Specialist.
Minimum requirements for Senior
DS/Parent Trainer Positions are
a BA or higher in Psychology,
Child Development, Special
Education or related field;
Prior experience providing ABA
to children and their families;
Prior experience training
parents is preferred.
Course work in ABA is a plus.
Bilingual skills a plus.
