Assessment

For comprehensive programs,
CLC considers the first 30 days
of intervention as the
"Diagnostic Treatment Month."
The treatment team will use this time to:
- Get to know your child, and determine the approach that would be appropriate for your child.
- Complete initial assessments and write reports to support findings
- Establish goals and objectives
- Establish the parent as an active member of the treatment team
- Structure the therapy setting
- Determine the amount of time needed from each clinical discipline after the first month of treatment, based on the child's initial goals and objectives.
- Determine the total frequency of intervention that will be recommended after the first month of treatment, based on the child's initial goals and objectives.
The CLC assessment protocol
