Assessment

For comprehensive programs, CLC considers the first 30 days of intervention as the "Diagnostic Treatment Month."

The treatment team will use this time to:

  • Get to know your child, and determine the approach that would be appropriate for your child.
  • Complete initial assessments and write reports to support findings
  • Establish goals and objectives
  • Establish the parent as an active member of the treatment team
  • Structure the therapy setting
  • Determine the amount of time needed from each clinical discipline after the first month of treatment, based on the child's initial goals and objectives.
  • Determine the total frequency of intervention that will be recommended after the first month of treatment, based on the child's initial goals and objectives.

The CLC assessment protocol may include the following:

  • CLC Curriculum assessment
